CUTRIC Conference COVID-19 Update
Dear CUTRIC Stakeholders, Conference Speakers, Participants and Sponsors:
CUTRIC has been monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation over the past two weeks, and we are currently preparing a COVID-19 Mitigation Protocol for all of our events, including the planned 2nd Canadian Low-Carbon Smart Mobility Technology Conference: Zero Emissions Transit & Data Driven Smart Mobility, in Winnipeg from June 17-19, 2020 in tandem with our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Like many organizations, we are closely following Health Canada’s guidelines for public gatherings ahead of our Conference. Our team looks forward to this event, but our central concern is the health and well-being of our staff and many supporters. As the situation continues to evolve rapidly, we are currently exploring how best we can engage on the critical topics covered by this conference, while maintaining everyone’s health and safety.
We expect to make a final decision about the conference by April 13, 2020 and will reach out to those who have registered with this information and post any updates.
CUTRIC will work to forge a communications and conferencing solution that is safe and healthy for all participants going forward. Your support means a great deal to our national consortium of participants. Your insights are welcome as our team and Board of Directors works through options ahead this month.
We thank you for your patience. Any questions regarding this statement can be made to [email protected].
Sincerely,
Josipa Petrunic, President & CEO
