You are invited to the 1st Hydrogen Mobility Seminar in Trois-Rivières on April 16, 2019. This one-day seminar informs Quebec transit agencies of hydrogen transportation technology developments relating to fuel cell electric buses, fuel generation and distribution opportunities. This seminar will help transit agencies interested in full fleet electrification understand the optimized applications of hydrogen fuel cell electric bus (FCEB) technologies in a zero-emissions transportation strategy, and how FCEBs can work alongside battery electric buses going forward.
The seminar is divided in 4 key themes:
Theme 1: FCEV Innovation (Bus & Coach Fuel Cell State of the Art)
- What types of Fuel Cell Buses are available in North America?
- What is the performance evidence of these vehicles according to OEMs in operation or in Altoona testing?
Theme 2: H2 Fuel Supply Chain
- Where is H2 generated (in Canada and Quebec)?
- Where could it be generated (in Canada and Quebec)?
- How is it distributed and how could it be distributed (in Canada and Quebec)?
Theme 3: Predicted Transit Performance with FCEV
- CUTRIC predicted modelling of FCEVs in York Region (high speed routes) and MiWay (regional routes).
- How are FCEB predicted to perform on roads?
Theme 4: Transit Experience with FCEV
- What are the procurement experiences (opportunities and challenges) among FCEB transit agencies?
- How do FCEBs perform in transit operation?
- What is the transit experience with the H2 fuel supply chain?
- What are ideal innovations that transit systems require for fuller deployment in the future?
